What is Testosterone Enanthate?
Testosterone Enanthate (Long-acting esterified testosterone (injectable)) is a testosterone enanthate ester — C₂₆H₄₀O₃, MW 400.6. Esterified testosterone hydrolysed to free testosterone after intramuscular injection (peak ~2–4 days, active ~10–14 days). Free testosterone activates the androgen receptor (AR) producing anabolic effects in muscle, bone, and CNS. Aromatases to oestradiol via CYP19A1 — both AR and ERα/β signalling.
