What is PTD-DBM?

PTD-DBM is a cell-penetrating peptide construct combining a Protein Transduction Domain (PTD) and a Dvl-binding motif (DBM). It blocks the inhibitory CXXC5–Dishevelled interaction, restoring Wnt/β-catenin signalling. Studied for dermal papilla cell activation, hair follicle neogenesis, and wound healing. Research use only.

Research Applications

Wnt/β-Catenin Pathway Research

β-catenin nuclear translocation, TCF/LEF reporter assays, pathway activation

Hair Follicle Regeneration

Dermal papilla cell proliferation, anagen induction, follicle neogenesis models

Skin Wound Healing

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I reconstitute this peptide?
Add 1 mL bacteriostatic water to the lyophilized vial, directing liquid down the inner wall. Swirl gently until clear. PTD-DBM dissolves readily within 1–2 minutes due to its hydrophilic PTD domain.
How should this peptide be stored?
Store lyophilized vials at −20°C. Reconstituted solution is stable at 2–8°C for up to 3 weeks. Minimize light exposure and freeze-thaw cycles to preserve the PTD structure.
What purity is this QSC compound and how is it verified?
PTD-DBM contains a Dishevelled-binding motif (DBM) that competitively disrupts the inhibitory CXXC5–Dvl interaction. This relieves suppression of the Wnt/β-catenin cascade, promoting target gene transcription. The PTD domain enables intracellular delivery without transfection.
